Day 5

This was to be the last day south of the border, so we got up grabbed a bite to eat in Nottingham and then hit the road destination Liverpool.

by this point the guys were all starting to feel the wear and tear of touring. we arrived in Liverpool to one of the best sounding small venues we had been to, yet again the pains of being a headline act kicked in, yes that's right soundcheck first go on last.

the waiting about was lightened up quite a bit by Mo the drummer from the view showing up and just really chillin out and having a good laugh.

after the gig back into the van for the final slog up the road and arriving in Larbert at 5am.

Day 6 will be posted as soon as i receive photos.

Day 4

Finally we were to move on from Ringwood, and the great hospitality we had been shown by Dave and Mary.

yet again into the Bean Machine (formally known as the Chariot of Farts) and set course forExeter, this time Barry was at the helm.

after the ups and downs as in the vertical inclines and descents the van had to endure on route we had arrive to a very wet very dull and very quite Exeter, or so we though.

After we had sound checked the Venue started to fill up and it was looking to be a good night,

the sound for a small venue was really good.

it was back into the van and we began probably the worst idea anyone has every had, that is driving from Exeter to Nottingham at 1 in the morning and not getting there till half four.

Day 3

well it was the morning after the night before and lets just say one word ROUGH.

we had our only day off

yesterday and drove to Cardiff to do a bit of visiting and drove back to Ringwood for a night out and............ What a night, big thanks to Elise and Matt for being our tour guides.

Anyway to the day at hand, Bournemouth 60 million postcards......

we were on a two band bill, compared to London this was a very quite lineup, playing along side us was another tourning band from andover, England called Sion, nice bunch of lads.

the set was a little different than usual as Mack had completely lost his voice and barry's voice was struggling a bit but he managed to pull through, unfortunately macks voice wasn't so lucky.

but we had the magic carpet to help us through...

all in all it was a good gig in a lovely venue and it was good to get a chance to play for Dave and Mary (Barry's Uncle and Aunt) who had really looked after us for the last few days.

so really this gig was played for them.

anyway 3 more days to go peace out.

day 2

so day 2 and it was off to the capital, after a good breakfast it was back into the chariot of farts and london bound.

After a couple of hours drive and we arrived in london, for our first ever show. when we arrived we found out we were on with another 5 bands which was something new for us as we had never been on such a busy bill.

The other bands on included "Armstrong" (ex members of Hadouken) "the Famous Class" and "Lucid" (from the isle of white).

once the gig was over we hung about to watch a few of the bands and then decided to set sail for ringwood (where barrys uncle lives) and our port of call for the next couple of days.

anyway as i said adam was sick so yet again stevie saved the day by sound checking for adam, so instead of playing some of our songs as a soundcheck we went into some oasis and stereophonic covers, which was something totally different for the norm.

adam came to we had something to eat and then we were ready for the gig. not the most busy gig but all the people there had a good time and we ended up having a 7 song encore, that consisted of most of the covers that we had already played that night already.

finally we hit the hay and in 6 hours time we were up and it started all over again......

Day 1

Well day 1 is now over and what a day it was......

it began in the rain in Larbert at 11pm on Friday night, van packed and on the road. Everyone taking turns to drive making life a little easier on us all.

After 10 hours, 4 stops and one sick Guitarist we had arrived, tired sore but excited about the following week and our first ever tour. We pulled up to Orsett Hall our first stop, welcomed with open arms to an absolutly beautiful building.

so Adam was not felling so great so off to bed he was sent, at this time Barry, Mack, Ross and our number one Tour Manager/Driver/Roadie - Super Stevie Grant loaded all the gear out of the van and into the venue.

later on adam woke like something from an 80's horror flick felling a bit more human, a bite to eat and a couple of beers really seemed to be what the doctor ordered.

Reflections Tour 2009

So the countdown has begun.......

two weeks untill Echofela depart on there first ever U.k tour, and something they have spent so long planning.

please keep you eye on the Blog as we will try and update it everyday that we are on tour, with the highs, lows and general mishaps that happen on tour (No holds barred).
